WOW! Thank you to all that came along to our FIRST FOUNDATION QUIZ NIGHT AND FUNDRAISER!
It was an amazing success and we were able to raise $7,734 for the Foundation!
It wasn’t the best of weather, but that didn’t stop the nearly 100 Quiz participants from turning up and having a fantastic time. The vibe in the hall was light hearted and happy and everyone was there to have a great time and raise funds for a worthy cause.
There were many people who contributed their time to help make this event a success. But there are a few that we would like to mention.
KYLAN DRAY – Alumni
Kylan graciously offered to be our MC for the night and what a fantastic job he did. He injected humour into the night and ensured that the night ran smoothly and did it so effortlessly.
It was great to have him on board helping us raise funds for the Foundation.
VAHA PULU – Warriors 2nd Row
Vaha came along in support of our quiz and generously allowed us to auction him off to join a table! The table had a great time with him as part of their team.
STUART WARDS – Harcourts
Stuart donated his time and skills by bringing his Auctioneering talent along and helped us to raise great amounts for the various items we had to offer.
BYRON TANTAU – 2017 Waitakere College Foundation Scholarship recipient
We would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to Byron for donating his time and coming along to speak about how receiving a scholarship helped him on the next journey of his career.
QUIZ NIGHT MARKERS
We had 4 marvelous markers: Nerrina – The College’s IT Guru and Isa, Wes and Elijah – staff of Waitakere College who came along to support the work that the Foundation does.

THANK YOU! for coming along. Without your generous donations of time and money, it would not have been the success it was. Know that every cent that was raised, is going to go towards hard working students, who simply need a hand up to start the climb to their dreams & goals.
